In the first quarter of 2025, the iOS food delivery market in Norway showcased varying trends among the top five apps. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
foodora: Food & Groceries started the quarter with weekly downloads of around 20.1K, eventually declining to 7.3K by the end of March. Despite this drop, weekly active users showed a more stable pattern, peaking at 63.2K mid-January and settling at approximately 51K by the quarter’s end.
Wolt Delivery: Food and more experienced fluctuating downloads, beginning with 3.6K and ending the quarter slightly lower at 3.2K. The app maintained a strong active user base, starting from 39.2K and rising to a peak of 57.4K in mid-March.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste saw a steady increase in weekly downloads from 1.7K to a peak of 2.7K in early March, before declining to 1.9K by the end of the quarter. Active users, however, rose significantly, reaching over 111K in late March, marking a substantial increase from the start of the year.
Morgenlevering showed a notable rise in downloads, beginning with 560 and peaking at over 4K in early February. This was followed by a gradual decline, ending at 850 downloads per week.
Oda - Online grocery store maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 914 and peaking at 1.1K in late January before tapering to 773 by the end of March. The app kept its active user numbers relatively stable, fluctuating around 6K to 7K throughout the quarter.
